Application Documents/Branding

My personal motto is "I will translate your problems into solutions" because I want to be the person that people can come to, to fix their problems. This website as well as my profiles on LinkedIn, HandShake, etc. reflect my willingness to be a helping hand. I want to be a useful member of an office team. I believe that one of my hooks is that I am easy to talk to and very understanding of many situations. I am also an imaginative problem solver which I have specified in my various online profiles. Because of this class, I have made changes to the format of my resume and some of the information it provides. Since the job position I am interested in is an internship, I made sure to specify in my online profiles that I am looking for entry level positions so that I can learn and gain experience. I have changed my cover letter by changing how my paragraphs are set up. I divided up into four paragraphs so that it is easier to read than the three large paragraphs I had before. The language within the cover letter is personalized to the specific job posting from Loc Performance about their Human Resources Internship. I used some of the same language that they used in the job posting such as orientation, recruiting and clerical needs. I have also made some changes to my resume. The overall formatting is a bit different. I organized it so that it is easier to read. I also used less bold so it is easier to see what is most important. I also added a section for my skills. The resume is a good place to showcase my skills which are unique to me. This way they can see them first thing instead of having to ask about them later.
